What
are the advantages of crossing the Route by bike? There are many.
Well, we are cyclists.
After reading you'll give us reason.
Bicycling is a little tiresome but nothing compared to hiking. There
will be some tracks where it will be necessary to push or carry your
bike but you won't get weary.
By bike you can cover the distances you plan in a shorter time. Therefore
you'll have more time for sight-seeing.
By bike you can easily visit places out of the route.
By bike you can stop and enjoy the most beautiful sites of the route
without hurry.
By bike you will have a vehicle to go from one place to another within
the towns you stop for shopping, visiting, etc.
By bike you will not have the disconfort of having to carry a backpack
because your luggage will be on your saddlebag.
It's very common to see Europeans travelling by bike and in general
an infrastructure already exists in motels, inns and in shelters of
Saint James' Route to keep your bike without inconvenience.
Europeans drivers do respect cyclists and only imprudence or unskilfulness
can provoke accidents.
In spite of being almost montaneous, the ones who enjoy mountain bike
know that the higher the mountain, the more beautiful the view is.
